  1. Double-click Holdshot.zip in Downloads.

  2. Drag the extracted app into Applications. Open it from there.

  3. Click Done (or OK). Keep the app; don’t choose Move to Trash.

  4. System Settings → Privacy & Security → Security. Click Open Anyway, then Open. Authenticate if asked.

  5. Click Allow in Holdshot. Enable Holdshot in Accessibility. If missing, use + → Applications → Holdshot → Open.

  6. Click Allow in Holdshot. In Screen & System Audio Recording, add Holdshot with + if missing, then enable it.

  7. Quit and reopen Holdshot. Enable it, close its settings, then hold, drag, release, and paste into Notes with ⌘V.

Already listed? Just turn on its toggle. You only need + when Holdshot is missing. Apple’s first-launch guide ↗
